My wife, Erikka, and I have always had a passion for sports and children. We have 3 kids of our own and my wife is a high school teacher and cheer coach. I grew up playing mainly soccer and baseball from age 5 through college and Erikka had been involved in basketball, cheer, gymnastics, diving, etc herself. I had always contemplated getting into a career in sports but never knew what direction to go or where to even start looking. Where I should've been looking was right under my nose.

I had coached at i9 Sports since it started in Edmond, OK in 2012 by Chris Waugh. He ran the program magnificently for 3-4 years. We are now coming up on our second year of running i9 Sports in OKC and my has time flown by!! Our first year was a blast and we can't wait to see what the future years have in store at i9 Sports!!

Why Do Parents Love i9 Sports?

"You have a more hands on approach to teaching my child how to play soccer. You are all very positive, and make it more personal by calling my son by his name. "

Nathan D.  (October 2017)

"I love the limited time commitment - perfect for a 4yo! I also love that it is focused on introducing kids to sports instead of winning/competition. My husband and I are not athletic but we want our kids to still be exposed to all different types of activities. i9 makes it really easy and affordab ... Read More

Amy P.  (October 2017)

"Positive atmosphere and only having practice and game one day a week! My son would not be able to play sports if it were not only one day a week. I love coaching and seeing all the kids have the best fun of their lives :-)"

Tifany T.  (May 2017)

"I love the friendly, family feel. I also love that practices are right before the games rather than taking up another day/night. I9 always feels organized and well run."

Lance R.  (June 2016)

"I like the convenience of sports being on Saturdays as well as multiple sports in one location. Therefore it cuts down on travel time to different sports if you have multiple children who love different sports!! "

Joseph V.  (October 2017)
