Welcome to the i9 Sports: All-Star Flag Football Program!
We are entering into our 2nd Year of existence as a program, and our 4th Official Season of All-Stars Flag Football! During this time, we have experienced explosive growth as over 40 kids and their families joined us this past winter for tournaments and games in Maryland, Florida, and Virginia. We’re so excited about this program and the sense of “community” it creates amongst our families as we practice, play, and travel together. This summer we have a ton of exciting things lined up. If you’re going on vacation this summer...no worries. Read to the end, and we’ll tell you how you can tailor the program to fit your family’s budget and vacation needs!
For the first time ever, we will lead off our summer season with a “camp” guaranteed to help your kids grow in the sport of flag football. We have some of the best coaches around, including former high school coaches and college athletes. Our first ever “All-Stars Camp” will include practice time, classroom time, as well as time for your kids to watch themselves on film with a coach’s guidance so that they can grow in what they are doing by leaps and bounds. It’s five days of growth for your kids you won’t want to miss!
Just one week later, we will be off to Charlotte, NC to show off what we have learned for our first competition on June 30th. This is a tournament where we won our way to the semi-final round of the tournament, before being beaten by the eventual winner in the 12U Division. We’re excited to return to this tournament and see what we can do in 2019!
When we return from Charlotte, we will go to our normal once a week practice schedule where our outstanding coaches will continue to coach, mentor, and grow your kids not only in the game of flag football, but also in life. We really value our i9 Sports culture, especially our Sportsmanship Values. We feel these are the true “secret in the sauce” as we try to spur our kids on towards being great family members and future citizens of our community. Practices will be on Sunday afternoons, and this season our coaches will be providing over 40+ hours of instruction when you include the camp. It truly is an amazing opportunity to learn and grow under quality coaches.
Our second stop for All-Stars this season will be an exciting event hosted at the NFL Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio! This tournament will be held July 19th - 21st, where the NFL Hall of Fame has built a number of beautiful turf fields, around their already beautiful stadium. This is the same stadium where NFL Teams come in and opened up their season during Hall of Fame induction week. Teams participating will hear from former linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles and NFL Coach, Ray Farmer. There is also a huge celebration the evening before the tournament where the kids will see a presentation led by a “secret” Gold Jacket Winner and Member of the NFL Hall of Fame. Players and their families will also have an opportunity to visit the NFL Hall of Fame itself. It should be an amazing weekend for all involved with this tournament in Canton, OH.
Our final stop of the season will be a local tournament hosted by the FFWTC, a group whose tournaments we have been attending frequently over the last year. This tournament will be hosted in our backyard at River City Sportsplex in Midlothian, VA. This will be an amazing way to end our season on August 4th, while not having to travel very far to do so! This is the last of three amazing opportunities your family can opt into if you choose. Do just one, or do them all! It’s your choice. We know you will want to join us for this local tournament to finish out a great season!
So why should you choose i9 Sports: All-Stars Flag Football? Its because we have a dedicated staff of highly qualified coaches that are amongst the most highly rated by you as i9 Sports Families! The program itself, has a 100% Net Promoter Score over three seasons. This score comes from families just like you that are in the program and have given it high marks in survey data due to an extremely high rate of customer satisfaction. It is a program families love to be a part of season in and season out. We know your family will too!
What Families Say:
WOW! What an incredible experience Battle North Carolina was! First, we want to thank all the coaches! It takes a special type of person to volunteer your time and attention to something like this. All of you have made a commitment to not only teaching our boys how to play football, but also how to behave, how to act, and how to grow as young men. We had the pleasure of watching our boys play the games on Sunday, but also getting a glimpse of what type of men our boys will become one day. If Sunday is any indication then the future for the community of Midlothian is in good hands - James Massey
We wanted to send a quick note to say thank you for an amazing experience. Every aspect of this process from start to finish was fantastic. Our son not only had fun and made many new friends, he also grew with skills and confidence. Your target was to maintain the i9 expectations and you succeeded in full. We can't thank you enough for the experience and memories - RJ Greger
So if you have a child that loves the game of football, or just truly loves to compete, we encourage you to join us for i9 Sports: All-Star’s Summer Season. You won’t regret it!
