Welcome to the i9 Sports 2019 Spring Basketball Leagues!
Our number one goal is for your child to have a positive experience that will encourage them to continue to play sports. We believe our coaches, parents, and referees need to work together to make this happen.

i9 Sports has a family friendly schedule with consistent practice and play times on the same day!
Also, with weekly lessons in respect, team work and positive attitude, you will quickly find out that i9 Sports is a great environment for kids! Parental laughter and cheers encouraged!

Goal: To provide kids ages 5-12 a recreational sports experience with a commitment to safety, sportsmanship, personal development while having fun and learning fundamentals. i9 Sports offers parents with unsurpassed communication, responsiveness and the highest degree of customer service and professionalism.

Basketball Format: Play Basketball league play is 5-on-5. All practices and games take place on Sundays, no midweek practices required. Divisions are based on the amount of registrations. Teams will usually consist of 8-10 players (more or less depending on # of teams and players). Younger divisions will play first, followed by older divisions.

Rosters: Team assignments are determined in order by grade, school, buddy & coach requests, skill level (see below) and registration date. Divisions are based on the amount of registrations. Teams will usually consist of 8-10 players (more or less depending on number of teams and players). We do not roster players based on coach requests. All requests must come from the parent/guardian. We will work very hard to meet your special request, but we do not guarantee that any or all of your requests will be met. Any request made after the registration deadline can not be guaranteed.

Coaches: All coaches are volunteers and are subject to a criminal background check. We recommend that all teams have (2) coaches. A small percentage of teams will not have a coach assigned when the rosters are announced. If this is the case, our staff will be contacting everyone on the team to make sure we have a volunteer in place. We do not guarantee you will be provided with an experienced coach. However, we require all coaches to attend webinar training and will provide field training assistance to any coach that requests help.

Practice: We understand everyone has busy schedules during the week. That's why we provide practice facilities at the court before the game. Parents love this one day a week commitment and kids enjoy practicing, then immediately implementing what they learned.

Equipment: The league provides each player an official i9 Sports reversible jersey, a weekly sportsmanship award, participation medals and division champions receive a trophy. Players may wear shorts/pants of any type (no pockets or belt loops). Appropriate footwear includes sneakers or basketball shoes.
