Notes:

Program Philosophy: This is an Instructional Clinic for Boys AND Girls ages 3-10 where the primary emphasis will be on teaching basic soccer skills and fundamentals in an fun and inclusive environment. Sessions are 60 to 75 minutes depending on age. Certified coaches will lead instruction each week. This is perfect for young players with little or no soccer experience.

Games and practices will be held on the same day. There is no mid-week obligation.

Program Format: The weekly program will be split into two parts:

  1. Instruction--This is the main focus of the the Instructional League. Each week certified instructiors will lead the players in teaching the basic fundamentals of soccer--dribbling the ball, passing and receiving foot work/ball work and shooting. Group and invidual drills will be utilized.

  2. Games--After the first few weeks, we will work toward playing games at the end of each session. Please note that games will not be the emphasis of the program! Players will apply their skills in game situations appropriate for their age and skill level. The main emphasis in on fun, equal participation and sportsmanship.

Time/Location: Sunday beginning at Noon at Anne Arundel Community College, 101 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012.

Schedule: The program starts on March 31.  June 2 will be used as a make-up date.

Uniform: An official i9 Sports jersey will be provided. Players will need to provide their own shorts, sneakers or rubber cleats and shin guards. Mouth guards are recommended but not required.

Program Fee:
If you pay after 3/11/2019: $179.00
