LEAGUE INFO & FORMAT: Season length is 6 weeks and will include a volunteer coach-driven practice followed by a game. Instructors will be on hand. Program lasts 60 minutes and will include instructional practice and game. No midweek practices required!
MICROS: 3v3 instructional play. All games are officiated by i9 Sports referee. 30 minute programmed practice followed by a 30 minute game.
COACHES:All teams require 2 volunteer coaches provided by the team! These coaches can be siblings, family, friends, or anyone you know that would like to volunteer. i9 Sports does not provide coaches for the teams.A small percentage of teams will not have a coach assigned when the rosters are announced. If this is the case, our staff will be contacting everyone on the team to make sure we have a volunteer in place. We do not guarantee you will be provided with an experienced coach but we will do our best to train all new coaches.
ROSTERS: Team assignments are determined by buddy & coach requests, school, skill level and registration date. We do not roster players based on coach's requests, all requests must come from the parent/guardian. We will work very hard to meet your special request, but we do not guarantee that any or all of your requests will be met. Refunds will not be given if i9 Sports is unable to meet your special request.
JERSEYS & EQUIPMENT:The league provides each player with an official i9 Sports short-sleeve jersey and soccer ball. Players must wear shin-guards and i9 Sports provides on site for $15. All field equipment will be provided. Soccer cleats are recommended.
SPORTSMANSHIP AWARDS: We acknowledge good sportsmanship with a number of awards including "Weekly Excellence in Sportsmanship". All kids will be recognized at the end of the season, win or lose!
