Important Program Details
League Format:Play is 5v5 with teams consisting of about 10 players each. Leagues are coed for kids in PreK up to 10th Grade during the current 2018-19 school year. Grade divisions include PreK-K, 1st-2nd, 3rd-4th, 5th-6th, 7th-8th, and 9th-10th. Grade ranges in each division are subject to change based on numbers if necessary.
Game & Practice Schedule: Games will be played on Saturdays only ranging from January 5th - February 23rd. Official practices should be held an hour prior to the game at the field, making it a once per week commitment for all families. However, coaches may choose to schedule up to one (1) optional weeknight practice per week. Locations and times of practices are left to the coach's discretion.
Equipment: The league provides each player with an official i9 Flag reversible jersey and flag belt. Players may wear shorts/pants of any type as long as they do not have pockets or belt loops, and as long as they do not include the color red. Each player must use a mouth guard at all times during play.
Coaches & Referees:All volunteer head/assistant coaches will receive mandatory background checks. Please consider volunteering as a head coach by completing the volunteer application when registering! All referees are trained to ensure the highest level of professionalism during all games.
Awards & Website:Kids will receive a participation award at the end of the season, and weekly awards will be given out to the player who best exemplifies the i9 Sportsmanship Value of the Week!
