Important Program Details

Program Format: i9 Sports T-Ball teaches kids ages 3-6 (as of 09/01/18) the basic fundamentals of how to catch, throw, hit, run, and be "baseball ready" in a fun and safe real-game setting! Kids will be organized into coed groups of 15-16 kids based on age. Each group will receive 30 minutes of practice & station work with our Head T-Ball Coordinator during the first half of each Saturday session, followed by 30 minutes of game play during the second half of the session. Teams may change on a week to week basis in order to keep things fresh and produce even matchups.

League Philosophy: This program is 100% instructional and recreational with an emphasis is on keeping things laid-back and letting the kids have fun while developing skills and getting as much playing time as possible. Each child will bat and play the field during every single inning. No outs, scores, or stats will be recorded. There are no try-outs or drafts and each child will play every inning of every game! We also do our best to honor special requests for children to play with friends or siblings.

Schedule & Location: This season will run on Saturdays ranging from Jan 5th - Feb 23rd. All practices and games will take place once per week on Saturdays at UNF. There are no weeknight practices or games...all sessions take place on Saturdays only!

Equipment: The league provides each player with an i9 Sports reversible jersey and hat. We will also supply t-balls, bats, and helmets at the field. Players should supply their own shorts/pants and bring their own glove (9"-9.5" recommended.) For footwear, sneakers or rubber cleats may be worn - no metal please! Protective cups are optional.

Practice: This is a recreational program with an emphasis on keeping things laid-back and having fun on gamedays. As a result, all practices will be held prior to the game at the field, thus making it a once per week commitment for everyone involved.

Coaches: All head instructors and volunteer assistant coaches will receive mandatory background checks. Please consider helping out with your child's group as an assistant coach by completing the volunteer section when registering your child!

Awards: All kids will receive an i9 Sports Trophy at the end of the season!

The final deadline is November 15th, but register early to save money!
