Welcome to the 2019 Spring Season of i9 Sports Cheerleading!
You will find i9 Sports is an exciting alternative to other leagues, because we offer features you value most:
- Unsurpassed organization and communication
- Emphasis on fun that places the kids' needs first
- Focus on basic skills, sportsmanship, team play and fairness
- Convenience (practices and games on the same day)
- Commitment to safety (mandatory certified background checks on all coaches)
Program Structure: The i9 Cheer Program is synchronized with our i9 Flag Football Leagues. Participants will cheer on the teams and provide half-time entertainment during the games! The program is focused on teaching basic skills and having fun. It is 100% recreational, so everyone participates all of the time. There are no try-outs, no competitions, and no heavy travel is involved. Cheer squads will be taught by experienced cheerleading coordinators with volunteer parents helping out as well.
Special Requests: We will always honor requests for girls to cheer together on the same squad. Please feel free to make these special requests in the appropriate section during your registration. However, special requests to cheer for a certain flag football player, such as a brother, cannot be guaranteed due to the expected ratio of flag football players to cheerleaders. There will not be one cheer squad for every flag football team. Cheer squads may cheer for a different i9 team every week!
Coaches: Please consider volunteering to assist our cheer coach! You will find the experience personally rewarding!
Practice: We encourage no more than one (1) practice per week and practice occurs 30 minutes prior to the game.
Equipment: The league provides each participant with an official i9 Cheerleading Uniform, Pom-Poms and hair ribbon that your kids get to keep at the end of the season.
Awards: Each week one participant will be awarded an i9 Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. All participants will receive an i9 Participation Trophy with their name engraved on it!
Interactive Website: You can easily find programs near you, access detailed schedules, communicate with your coach, view standings and team/player statistics, review game rules, see your child's accomplishments and get the latest league news at our state-of-the-art website. The website is updated on a regular basis so please check the site often.
Mobile Website: Go to www.i9sports.com on your mobile device. Easily find all programs near you and register in a few simple clicks. View your child's schedule, know your jersey color for the day, easily locate and dial the weather hotline for the latest updates and find location info to get turn by turn directions to the games. You can even view league standings and game scores!
