A Multi Child Discount of $10.00 is automatically applied for additional children after initial registration in the same season (clinics excluded).

Important Program Details

The i9 Philosophy: i9 Sports is committed to creating the best environment for your child by:

Focusing on fun that places the kid's needs first
Ensuring the safety of the players, coaches, and officials
Teaching fundamental flag football skills thru age appropriate programming
Engendering good sportsmanship

Age Appropriate Programming:

Pee Wee (4-6 yrs.)
- 75-90 minutes of on field play (30 min practice; followed by game play)
- Coaches and i9 Sports staff work together to introduce flag football to the kids
- No standings or playoffs
- No Travel

Junior (7-9 yrs.) - Travel Division
- 90 minutes of on field play (30 min practice; followed by a game)
- Travel Division - all teams will travel 1-3 times per season between the Weston and Sunrise locations
- Players learn to play positions, but all players must play equally
- Weekday practices are optional for coaches
- Scores & Standings kept each week
- Championship Game played on the final week of the season to determine the league winner. The final week may or may not be a travel week depending upon the final league standings

Senior (10-12 yrs.) - Travel Division
- 90 minutes of on field play (30 min practice; followed by a game)
- Travel Division - all teams will travel 1-3 times per season between the Weston and Sunrise locations
- Players learn to play positions, but all players must play equally
- Weekday practices are optional for coaches
- Scores & Standings kept each week
- Championship Game played on the final week of the season to determine the league winner. The final week may or may not be a travel week depending upon the final league standings

Senior B (13- 15 yrs.) - Travel Division
- 90 minutes of on field play (30 min practice; followed by a game)
- Travel Division - teams will travel 1-3 times between the Weston and Sunrise venues
- Players learn to play positions, but all players must play equally
- Weekday practices are optional for coaches
- Scores & Standings kept each week
- Championship Game played on the final week of the season to determine the league winner. The final week may or may not be a travel week depending upon the final league standings

League Format: There are approximately 6-10 players per team, which are organized into divisions according to age & grade level (with some modifications, as necessary).

Rosters: i9 Sports accepts buddy/teammate requests and will make every effort to accommodate - MAX 4 Buddy Requests per team, to ensure parody in the league. i9 team assignments are determined in order by: age, registration date, buddy requests & coach requests. We will work very hard to meet your special request, but we do not guarantee that any or all of your requests will be met. Refunds will NOT be given if i9 Sports is unable to meet your special request.

Coaches: All coaches are volunteers and are subject to a criminal background check and will participate in our preseason coaches meeting. We provide playbooks, practice guides, and equipment to all of our coaches allowing them to focus on having fun with the kids. We do not guarantee you will be provided with an experienced coach but we will do our best to train new coaches.

Awards: Each week one child from each team will be awarded an i9 Sports Sportsmanship Medal for demonstrating the value for that week. All children will receive an i9 Sports Participation Award at the end of the season. For the Junior and Senior Divisions, the Championship Winning Team will receive Champ Trophies in lieu of a participation award.
